About the event
Join the ladies of The Social Shift for a night of needle felting — where you'll stab, poke, and otherwise cajole wool into felt creating your own monogram. Therapeutic? Absolutely. Requires prior experience? Nope.
All supplies are included — wool, needles, foam pad, felt, hoop and you'll get step-by-step guidance from your instructor the whole way through!
No experience with needle felting required. Just bring yourself and a willingness to stab some wool.
How Needle Felting Works
The Needle: Has tiny notches or barbs near the tip that catch wool scales as you stab the needle in and out.
The Action: Repeated stabbing compresses and meshes loose fibers into a firm, solid shape.
